DUO
This is not sponsored
What’s your favourite duo? If your answer is not ‘OMR BEAUTY’s fragrance and perfume oil, DUO,’ then you should probably rethink that. I’m not judging, honestly! But maybe… you should stick around to read why DUO is worth that title.
If you haven’t yet guessed, in this volume we are talking about DUO, the collaboration between Omar Rudberg and Edvin Ryding. Considering this fragrance is a fan favourite, I’m honoured to write about this one!
The journey begins in May, 2024, when OMR BEAUTY’s initial teasing started for the fragrance on their social media. Initial posts included silhouettes of Omar Rudberg and an array of shades of oranges, and in my opinion, this campaign was extraordinary–each photo, each frame, was captured exquisitely. These posts continued for a number of days, gaining attraction and suspense, ready for the announcement of the new product.
However, it wasn’t until a video featuring a close up of somebody’s (not Omar’s) eye, which was quickly followed up with a photograph posted of it alone, that the enthusiasm rapidly escalated. Speculation grew for a while, that the photo was none other than Omar’s Young Royals co-star, Edvin Ryding.

@iroxk5.2.25 (on instagram)
I can remember the twitter timeline from that week as everybody investigated and freaked out, but that was nothing compared to when OMR BEAUTY confirmed on their social media that this fragrance was in fact a collaboration with Edvin. Without a doubt, Young Royals fans were ecstatic at this reunion project. And with that, the summer, sunset-like posts continued as the preorder of the fragrance began, and the excitement increased more; everybody wanted to get their hands on the new fragrance.
When the pre-order for DUO sold out within less than 48 hours of its release, it became apparent that this fragrance was quite the hot topic for the company. And the build up of the official launch only creeped closer!
In February of 2025, OMR BEAUTY began teasing a new campaign for what many believed to be a restock of the perfume. Though this was correct, we were also given the release of a perfume oil edition–an 8ml version of the original fragrance. The easily portable, travel friendly edition of this fragrance was launched on March 26th alongside the restock. It’s a brilliant alternative for those who would rather spend less on a fragrance but still purchase the same scent, or even those, who (like myself) prefer a perfume oil over a spray perfume.
‘I love the promo campaign immensely, and the design is magnificent!’ – X user @ArgosHelena stated when we asked about DUO
I think that I am yet to discuss the promo of an OMR BEAUTY product in this magazine, nevertheless, may I say that the campaigning for this fragrance, both campaigns that is, are simply the most exquisite I have seen from a brand. I cannot talk about DUO and not discuss the promo, though I feel that no explanation will do it justice–head over to their page and see it for yourself (after you’ve read this volume of course).
As mentioned earlier, the start of the original campaign (for the first release) focused on a warm aesthetic, the colour orange dominating the posts, as well as featuring frames of flowers and photographs of Omar. The orange-bottled fragrance would later be seen in a post on May 20th.
A collection of blues (which becomes more dominant in the second campaign for the restock, and the release of the perfume oil) later joins the original hue of the campaign. These two complementary colours draw and enhance our attention to the promo–it’s pursued elegantly. Eventually, posts additionally feature the co-creator of DUO, Edvin Ryding, presenting the collaboration of the perfume.
There was a generous, additional amount of content during this period: via OMR BEAUTY’s social media, we were handed several photoshoots of Omar and Edvin, behind the scenes footage, and additional random film as promo.
Finally, at the time of the original release, Omar and Edvin went live on OMR BEAUTY’s TikTok account to talk to fans about the fragrance, and to celebrate DUO’s journey into the world. As a matter of fact, TikTok became quite predominant during the promo for DUO, with many videos being made on OMR BEAUTY’s page in order to advertise it (or amuse us, anyway).
Although, promo didn’t stop with Omar, Edvin and social media–the fans worked just as hard! A trend began on social media, as buyers were receiving their perfumes, where they would record ‘unboxing’ videos, reacting to the fragrance for the first time. Seeing others' reactions made the anticipation even more thrilling.

@spaceisviolent (on instagram)
As our timeline progresses to the restock of the bottled fragrance, as well as the announcement of a perfume oil version, a new campaign begins–it is an inverted take on the original promo. Our complementary colours from before are present, though lead by the blue this time instead of orange, though it does make an appearance. Once again, a large multitude of content was posted including the finalised campaign video of Omar and Edvin strutting in to-die-for leather outfits, photographs of both the perfume and ingredients frozen inside blocks of ice, and of course the creators with both the perfume and the oil.
Once again, OMR BEAUTY’s TikTok account became extremely active in terms of promotion, including another live (it was more like a facetime call, to be honest, which was entertaining).
I haven’t personally had the opportunity to smell the original perfume, though I have the perfume oil and it is certainly a beautiful scent. The citrus fragrance is one perfect for summer, with its top notes of lemon, bergamot and juniper berry giving a fresh burst upon application. These ingredients remain present, even when faint, encouraging many to describe it as perfect for this season. The warmth of the aromatic herbs in the heart of the fragrance softens the brightness of the citrus, balancing it out nicely, before the woody base settles (cedarwood, dry amber and musk complete it). It’s concocted perfectly, the ingredients complementing one another as if soulmates.

@simme_rudberg (on instagram)
My favourite thing about OMR BEAUTY’s perfumes is that unlike a lot of fragrances out there, these scents are entirely unique, yet with an underlying signature to the company–it is not a typical, heavy, overpowering bouquet perfume. DUO is the perfect example of an OMR BEAUTY fragrance–it’s like no other, and does not smell like a classic perfume. It’s modern, it’s inviting and it’s faultless. And as always, OMR BEAUTY’s products remain uni-sex and vegan in order to be inclusive to all, and therefore it is a scent for everybody!
“It’s like the sun in a bottle.” – X user @ArgosHelena about DUO
It’s no surprise that DUO is a fan favourite out of OMR BEAUTY’s products, as it is magnificent, but what do people have to say about it? We asked a few of you to describe what DUO smells like, or reminds you of, or feels like to you. These are a few of your responses:
“It's my favourite of all the fragrances. I like the spray more, cause it is more potent in my opinion and in clothing it stays forever. For me it smells like the evening at a lake when the sun goes down. Fresh but still warm. The orange color fits that.” – X user @Caddue
“It’s perfect for date night.” – X user @ArgosHelena
“It's not like a feminine smell, but it's also not super masculine. I've never used a perfume oil, so I was kind of surprised when I realized you can't actually feel it on your skin. Even with it being an oil, I can't tell that there's any residue on my skin after I put it on.” – X user @rjfilits
Do you agree with our readers? What is DUO to you? We’d love to hear all of your thoughts.
So, I’ll ask again: what’s your favourite duo?

MAGAZINE
FEATURES
VOGUE
Okay, can we talk about how Omar just casually dropped two of the most stunning magazine features of the year?!
His features in the April/May 2025 issue of Vogue Scandinavia and Galore are everything—and I mean everything.
Let’s start with Vogue. In a Get Ready With Me video posted by Vogue Scandinavia on TikTok, Omar tells us the story of how the shoot went down.
At the time he was staying in an airbnb in Joshua Tree with his band and his friends after the tour ended. Continuing the story he explained that he was in the shower when his friend knocked on the door and told him that if they wanted to take pictures they should do it right now, because as he described, the sun was already setting. So he ran out of the shower and into the backyard and the shoot began.

As for the outfit, he stuns in a white tank top from Chimi and beige twill shorts from COS.
The outfit was so him: comfy, casual and somehow still elegant.

In the issue they mention how far he’s come. The first time they interviewed him was because of Young Royals and now he’s “performing on international stages as a popstar as well as running his own beauty brand”.
At the end they describe him as a “confident young man—a superstar who’s truly come into his own”.
GALORE
Now for Galore. A whole different vibe but just as iconic. The styling is total cyber glam with a hint of chaos—metallics, mesh, wild prints, low-rise pants. The photographer described his vision for the shoot saying “I wanted it to play in NYC during the 80’s or 90's. I wanted Omar to play the role of a nightlife escort that would perform on stage. When he comes home and looks in the mirror his reality sinks in.”

Oh and if you couldn’t already tell I’m here to tell you that the shoot became an absolute fan favorite, and don’t even get me started on the chaos that was happening on X when the pictures dropped.

As for the interview that was posted on Youtube, they dived into his journey, favorite food, secret makeup tips, and the power of self-expression through music. Finishing it by Omar leaving us a message saying that he hopes we’ll be “stuck with him forever”, and that we'll 100% do.
They also posted a three part “video diary”, that you can find on their instagram.
All in all I’m confident to say that both of these features will be remembered for a long time.

EVERY NIGHT FANTASY TOUR
SECOND HALF

@caddue (on X)
Tour has been and gone for a few months now; yet for many fans, it still holds those magical memories formed in queues and the concert atmosphere. I know for a fact I’ve still got some major post-concert depression from the very start of the tour!
We once again asked you to share your first-hand experience.
So without further ado, let’s delve into the remainder of the ‘Every Night Fantasy Tour’!
With only 10 more stops to go, the next stop was Razzmatazz, Barcelona!
Over the course of the tour’s progression, fans speculated on social media that Rudberg and a few members of his team had fallen ill, (later confirmed by Omar himself via his socials); yet despite this they pushed through, delivering once more, an amazing show. The Spanish crowds certainly brought the well-needed energy, jumping and cheering with all their might (possibly even giving other shows a run for their money). The cheers and hyped atmosphere was insane to witness online, let alone actually experiencing it in real time!
X User @Caddue had this to say - “loving, loud, happy” when asked to describe the show in three words.

@maevainbjarstad (on X)
Barcelona also held a fan-project, during ‘Redlight’, roses were held up with some even being thrown onto the stage after the song’s closing line. When asked about this, “he was really really happy about it, you could see it in his face”, X user @Caddue commented.
“The rose one in Barcelona was sooo cute”, user @_gabrysia0_ added and honestly I couldn’t agree more. Videos emerged after the concert, showcasing Rudberg’s reaction to the project, and it was enough to make anybody choke up witnessing it.
It’s moments like these that really highlight the appreciation fans feel towards Omar, and I have a feeling that it’s never going to stop!
Soon after, it was Italy’s long-awaited turn!
After years of promises and campaigns, Omar would finally perform at Alcatraz, Milan, for his Italian fans in their home country, needless to say this was probably one of the most awaited moment’s for the tour. The energy was high for the sold-out stop, and boy did the Italian crowd bring the energy!
When asked to describe the atmosphere, user @_gabrysia0_ shared - “fun, united, electric”.
Whilst Omar delivered an unforgettable show, the crowd seemed to give him just as much back, chanting their own songs during breaks in the set. Instagram user @dancing_atmyfuneral shared their favourite moment, “the entire room sang sei bellissimo (you are beautiful) to Omar and the other chants that happened during the show”.
Seems Milan was a show not to miss!

@omarsveinss (on X)

@omarsveinss (on X)
Next the tour took to Tonhalle, Munich! Much like other stops on the tour, the crowd was once again bursting with energy and cheers. X user @simmerdbrg shared the energy as “exciting, lovely, beautiful” when asked to describe the show in 3 words.
One fan-project X user @omarsvienna highlighted was a flag displaying Omar’s name coloured with the pride flag, “him and Wilnur looked so happy”, they shared when asked.
Throughout the tour, Omar’s latest single, ‘I’m Not A Boy’, has been a clear fan-favourite, however in Munich, Rudberg played around with the notes whilst singing. According to X user @omarsvienna, the “note changes went HARDDDDD” - and well I have to agree with that!
The next awaited tour stop led us to Stodola, Warsaw. Yet another thoroughly campaigned stop for Omar to perform in, the Polish crowd was definitely ready for him!
The atmosphere was incredible, and well once again I have to agree (which I do a lot, but I’m biased to Omar’s concerts, sue me).
User @_gabrysia0_ described the atmosphere as “wild, unforgettable, special”. She later went on to describe Warsaw as her favourite memory of the tour: the “whole Warsaw show it was sooo special bc it was my home town show…we delivered as a polish crowd Omar was sooo happy…it was the best show of Omar that I attended.”
After the incredible Warsaw performance, next up was Hamburg’s turn at the Docks! With only 5 shows left until the tour ended, energy was only continuing to rise. The crowds got louder, and smiles continued to grow.
Instagram user @rudberry_omar described the Hamburg atmosphere as “incredible, unique and iconic”, which we all saw the videos of, and cannot agree more! It seemed to be the further into the tour Omar got, the crazier his stage energy grew!
Whilst the concert is often an important memory for many fans, X user @trostpreiskind shared that his favourite memory of the show was “meeting all my oomfies (again) and also meeting someone who lives on the other side of the fckn globe”.
The bonds fans make whether online, in the concert, or in the long queues form the basis of friendships that only flourish and grow, keeping ties strong especially as more often than not, months go by without seeing each other. I know I’m so grateful to everyone I’ve met and had the honour to call my friends through this fandom, and that’s the case for quite a lot of people here!
Next up was Docks, Cologne!
User @celina_x1209 summarised the show perfectly - “TO STUNNED 2 SPEAK”, noting ‘Talk’, as her favourite performance, which honestly after seeing clips and the livestreams from the Cologne show, then 100% I agree.
Another X user @dreaming0304 shared ‘Rude Boy’, yet another popular song emerging from the ENF tour, as her favourite performance - “the vocals were insane…incredible”. And well I couldn’t have described it any other way.
A fan project featured during the Cologne show, signs detailing the words ‘If only little Omar knew’ were held up during Simon’s song, and honestly the emotion shown on Omar’s face as he saw the project, was everything!

@omarisareligion (on instagram)
Following Cologne, Omar and his team returned to Scandinavia with the next tour stop reaching Sentrum Scene, Oslo.
One thing I feel the need to note is, after being essentially ‘begged’ to sing songs from Så Mycket Bättre, during the Q+A portion of the concert; Rudberg sang his single ‘Höj ett glas (Fanfar)’ from the 2023 SMB ep. And if you were unfortunate enough to see my dms (sorry Ollie) or on omrtwt that evening, you knew just how I reacted.
Swiftly on to the actual concert, it seemed that the Oslo crowd (much like pretty much every stop on the tour) knew how to bring the energy needed. The crowd was wild, Omar was owning the stage, and the drum solos from Simon Papi (yes that had to get a mention) were amazing as per!
One fan, user @_gabrysia0_ highlighted one song in particular which caught her attention - “Dum was really special for me coz this song means a lot to me”, which coming from someone who cries at ‘Dum’ everytime, she is every bit right in her statement.

@caddue (on X)
Finally the team returned to their home city of Stockholm to play Fryshuset. Similar to many other shows part of the 19-stop tour, fans travelled from multiple countries to see Omar live; others (including myself) sat waiting eagerly, watching from grainy livestreams.
However something seemed different about this concert, whether it was the tour being down to its last 3 shows, or it being the team’s home concert…
The atmosphere seemed different
Many rumors were travelling around that the Stockholm show contained a surprise, which unfortunately turned out to be untrue. However the crowd certainly made up for it. It seemed to be that the levels of energy at Stockholm were intoxicating to both be in and witness.
Instagram user @spennufall described the show as “insane, emotional, loud” also noting that “when the curtain dropped, it was a really good effect. And how emotional he was during the whole show”.
Finally, the tour was beginning to wind down. Now at the last stop before the closing show, the tour moved to Dr Studie, Copenhagen. The atmosphere was described as “dynamic, incredible, cozy” - Instagram user @spennufall, which after seeing the clips, is certainly believable.
Copenhagen featured yet another fan project; During ‘Wrong’, signs were held up with the words ‘We couldn’t love you more Omar’ - one user on X @tina14jan, who was apart of the project commented, “to see it come to life and see Omar’s smile when he saw it was so beautiful!”
Finally the tour was reaching its end, with the closing show in Berlin. The 19th stop got added much later than the initial announcement, after an increase in ticket demand and the response from fans. It was with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to the ‘Every Night Fantasy’ tour, fans travelled from across the globe just to attend the closing show.
The energy was energetic yet bittersweet, with one user @simmerdbrg from X commenting, - “sad, beautiful, wonderful”. Another user @dancing_atmyfuneral on Instagram described the show as “energetic, emotional, fun”.
Berlin contained a fan-project fitting for the final show: signs were held up during the final song of the evening, ‘Sabotage’, saying thank you in multiple languages. “Some people did it earlier so the surprise aspect was gone but it was still really cute” - instagram user @dancing_atmyfuneral commented.
Instagram user @dancing_atmyfuneral - “it was definitely just experiencing being at the last show, it was very sad knowing it would be over after that, but it was also really beautiful to see how much it all meant to Omar especially, but also the dancers and his band” when asked to describe his favourite moment.
It seemed that emotions were not only running high with fans but with Rudberg himself, as the concert drew to its final moments—he came out again, singing ‘Sabotage’ once more. X user @finnsgin_ described the moment - “he didn’t wanna leave us…it was so emotional for us and him!”
I remember watching the livestream from home and singing along with the crowd, it was once again a bittersweet moment, yet cathartic at the same time.
With Berlin drawing to a close, that concluded the final moment of the ‘Every Night Fantasy Tour’. It’s been a journey to say the least, filled with wild moments on stage, to emotional ballads that make you feel like a part of you in healing as you sing along.

@omarisareligion (on instagram)
I’d like to take a quick moment to mention the amazing team that also brought so much hype to the shows and the crowds. Whether that be the amazing drum solos of Simon, or the keyboard solos of Isak. Whether that be the gravity-defying jumps of Lamin, the insane dancing from Adnan, or choreo that flows seamlessly when the two work together. Whilst we come to see Omar travel, it's everybody on stage that truly makes the ‘Every Night Fantasy’ tour what it is.
The tour holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who got to experience it, and it’s not over yet. There will be more tours, and more shows, and more moments to see and experience all our favourite songs over and over for years to come.
So with that, we say goodbye to the ‘Every Night Fantasy’ tour and welcome whatever is to come next. 2025 is just beginning and if it began like this, then it truly is the year of Omar Rudberg.
“So many of you came, so many beautiful moments, so many memories we've made. I'm forever grateful to every single one of you for being apart of this and making it happen […] I really hope I get to see all of you again... on the next tour... with new music! Dreams really do come true!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOREVER ily” - Omar Rudberg [via instagram caption @officialomar]

WAVES
If you keep up with Omar as much as we do over here at Omar Nation, you may remember that all the way back in January, he teased on a TikTok Live that he wrote a song for a K-pop artist. He was quite secretive about it, understandably, so we had no idea when it was going to be released or even who he wrote it for.
“I wrote a song that… a K-pop artist is going to release.”
[Omar Rudberg via TikTok Live]
But finally…

@OMRchartdata (on X)
On March 19th, 2025, we got confirmation from multiple Twitter accounts as well as Omar’s replies himself, that the artist he wrote for was TEN, a member of K-pop group NCT. A few days later, it would be revealed that he wrote the song ‘Waves.’
On the day of its release, March 24, 2025, it quickly hit records, becoming the second highest charting song on the album ‘STUNNER’ and #8 on Genie, one of the biggest streaming platforms in South Korea.
This song was truly the crossover of a lifetime, especially for simultaneous K-pop and Omar fans. It was also an incredibly insane opportunity for Omar to have written a song for one of the biggest K-pop idols right now! This is sure to help boost Omar to the levels of fame he truly deserves.
‘WAVES’ is a super upbeat, dancy song that’s super fun to jam to! Twitter user @omrs4headcurlzz agrees, stating that ‘Waves’ is “just so happy and upbeat and can just lift moods [...] it really makes you want to dance.” Many people have said that Omar’s music has a K-pop vibe to it, and that TEN’s style matches well with Omar’s, so clearly this collab was a match made in heaven!
Even today, ‘Waves’ is continuing to hit records; as of May 18th, 2025, the song has officially hit 4M streams on Spotify, making it TEN’s third most streamed song on the platform.
This has obviously been an incredible opportunity for Omar and has skyrocketed his fame to new levels. We can only hope that this is just the start of many more amazing opportunities and songs!
